Jumped ship from windows and boy am I glad I did! The screen, the performance, and the intuitiveness of the machine is something I haven't experienced before. Moreover, the design cohesiveness across the board is a big plus for me. With 16 gigs of ram and 256 gigs of storage, you can't have everything running. You'll have to be realistic. If swap consumes anything around 5 gb, you do need to take a step back and shut down some of the programs. The processor is a different story though. The max I've been able to push it is to 30%. But if you run two or more Adobe apps, I'm sure you'll be able to breach that 50% mark. The keyboard's okay, but the screen and trackpad is a god send. I work a whole lot with text and colours and rn, my eyes are thanking me. Pro tip: Get the 15 inch model for the screen real estate. I got my MBA M4 at around 1.2 L. The processor, the screen, and the trackpad alone make it a worthy purchase at this price. Did I mention that the speakers are good too, as is the camera? Build quality is better than what competitors offer at this price point. And when you factor that in along with everything else I said, it gets really hard to not recommend this product at this price point.

I am so happy with the delivery! My macbook had no problem or whatsoever. It works just fine! It looks premium and beautiful. I was planning to buy the 13th Inch one but I'm so glad I chose the 15th inch. The display is beautiful and better then the 13th inch one. Plus with 6 speakers, it's sound quality is better then the 13th inch variant one. Battery life is also good, i use it frequently and it can go two days without charging and lastly, the m4 chip is super strong. It runs so smoothly, best purchase ever!

1. Performance The M4 chip delivers noticeable gains over M3/M2. Benchmarks show ~23% faster over M3 in some tests, ~46% over M2. Handles multitasking, light creative workloads, coding, etc., without breaking a sweat—and because it’s fanless, it’s silent. 2. Battery Life Apple claims up to 18 hours; in real-use/testing it tends to land around 15+ hours depending on task and brightness. The bigger 15″ body gives room for a larger battery vs smaller models. So more screen, not a huge penalty battery-wise. 3. Display & Design 15.3-inch “Liquid Retina” LED panel, good resolution (2880×1864), solid color accuracy, sharpness. New color “Sky Blue,” replacing Space Gray. Subtle, pleasant change. Thin, light for a 15" laptop: you get more screen real estate without making it feel like you are dragging a brick. 4. Ports, Camera, Features MagSafe returns. You’ve got 2x Thunderbolt/USB-C (now TB4), headphone jack. But still minimalistic. 12MP Center Stage webcam—better for video calls. Desk View feature included (but not perfect on this Air model). External display support improved: you can run two external displays at 6K/60Hz in addition to the laptop screen. Big deal for some users who had to use a Pro to do that. --- What’s Not Perfect / What to Watch Out For 👀 1. Display Limitations Still 60Hz refresh rate—no ProMotion, no OLED or mini-LED. So if you care about smooth UI scrolling, video editing with HDR, etc., you’ll feel the difference compared to MacBook Pro models. Brightness is decent (500 nits claimed), but in direct sun or super-bright settings might feel just “okay.” 2. Thermals / Sustained Load Because it’s fan-less, sustained heavy workloads (long video exports, heavy compilation, maybe running VMs) will push it hard. Thermal throttling is a possibility under sustained load. For day-to-day thing, no issue. But for heavy pro work, might hit limits. 3. Storage & Base Spec Base model starts with 16GB RAM, 256GB SSD. If you do anything moderately heavy (video editing, big photo libraries, VMs, etc.), 256GB will fill up fast. Upgrading storage or memory from Apple is expensive. So you may need to decide up front. 4. Port Selection is Minimal Only 2 TB4/USB-C ports + MagSafe + headphone jack. If you need HDMI, USB-A, SD card — you’ll need dongles or a hub. Standard complaint. 5. Price vs Pro Models Depending on your usage, Pro models offer things this Air doesn’t: higher refresh rate displays, more ports, better sustained performance, etc. If those are important, it might be worth stretching. --- Who This Device Suits Best If I were you, I’d buy this if: You want a large screen without going full Pro – good balance between portability and workspace. Mostly everyday to semi-heavy tasks: coding, photo editing, productivity, streaming, creative software but not ultra-heavy renders. You value battery life, silence, and lightweight (so, frequent travel or carrying around). You don’t need (or don’t want to pay extra for) top tier display features like mini-LED, ProMotion, ultra-bright HDR. It’s less ideal if: You’re doing long render jobs, video editing at high bitrate, big 3D work. You want super fast refresh rates, OLED or mini-LED displays. You need lots of ports / legacy connections. You’re someone who always pushes performance; then a MacBook Pro might be a better long-term choice. --- Verdict: Is It Worth It? Yes, if your priorities lie in portability + decent performance + battery life and you want a 15-inch screen without jumping to a Pro. It hits most of those well. If you already have an M3 or M2 Air/Pro – the gains are nice, but are they big enough to justify the cost? Maybe not, unless you need the external display support or the slightly better CPU/GPU performance. If I had budget constraints, I’d probably get the Air M4, upgrade storage to 512GB (if I can), maybe RAM depending. The sweet-spot seems to be the base specs + upgraded storage (for future-proofing).

I just switched from a MacBook Pro to a MacBook Air, and honestly, it’s pretty cool! 👍 But the keyboard is kinda harder to type on compared to my old Pro. Also, the Air doesn’t have many ports, so I had to buy a USB-C dock to plug in all my stuff. If you’re thinking about getting a MacBook Air, trust me, definitely get AppleCare+ directly from Apple store. it gives you 3 years of warranty for about ₹20k which protects your investment, and it is totally worth it so you don’t have to stress. One annoying thing is the price for upgrading the storage to 2TB, it’s daylight robbery, and I wish it was cheaper. Also, if you want really fast data transfers, make sure you get a Thunderbolt cable! Overall, the Air is awesome but could be a bit better, so I’m giving it 4 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Delivery within a day. Properly packaged and sealed. No comments on Macbook itself since it’s Apple. I miss third USB-C port which is present in Pro models. It’s smooth and seemless. Everything that’s expected to work just works. Light weight and not as heavy as Pro models. Size is just enough for personal usage who use Pro model MacBook for work purpose.
