Total waste of money never buy boat product

I have purchased this product from Boat Shopping App to get 3 months extended warranty from Boat over 12 months standard warranty and most importantly I received the neckband on the same day I ordered from Boat Shopping app. I have seen several reviews where people have complained about the build quality of this product which I have to agree with but that's the same case with brands like OnePlus and Realme. OnePlus and Realme neckbands also have same build quality issue where they get faulty within 12 to 15 months or so, depends on the way you handle the neckband. If you are a rough user, then, stay away from neckband and go for TWS. The most valid reason to buy the Trinity series from Boat is the battery backup and lightweight comfortability of the neckband, the unique selling point of this neckband is LDAC support and superb battery backup. At 80 percent volume, one can expect 100 hours battery backup if not 150 hours. Always remember that the claimed battery backup is always at 50 percent volume by all brands. Now regarding the build quality, I have used all neckbands from OnePlus, Realme and I have found same wear and tear issue within a year. It all depends if you are using the same product all throughout the day both outdoor and indoor. Heat and precipitation alongside improper handling will easily cause wear and tear of any wire except for braided wires which is not the case here. Boat Trinity series doesn't come with braided cable, so there is no chance you will get longevity in wires being intact. I would suggest all to keep two neckbands and use them alternatively to get longer life with wires. If you are using only one neckband all the day and all throughout the year, then, you can expect that to get faulty within a year or so. That's the reason the brands don't want you to stick with one neckband for 2 to 3 years as that is what business is. All brands want you to make purchases on a yearly basis so that the business can go on. Lastly, I would say that the Boat Trinity Gen 2 product is quite commendable and a good value for money. If you have low budget, then, go for Portronics Harmonics series neckband, personally I liked Portronics Harmonics Y1 Neckband since it has got 12mm driver size which gives better bass but you will not get battery backup as good as Trinity. Either go for Boat Rockerz Trinity Gen 2 or Boat Rockerz Trinity Grande as they are all the same and support LDAC and stop complaining about build quality; you can't have all flavours in one product, that's the reson they have got several products to match your taste. This product is best for insane battery backup, best for indoor calling purposes rather than outdoor calling and impressive sound quality on the basis of 10mm driver size. I have deducted 1 star for this product due to microphone not meeting expectations for outdoor calling and not having a braided cable. No product is a perfect one and this one has its own shortcomings. You need to compromise with the shortcomings or else search for other products which matches your taste. Since I have used all neckbands except for CMF, I know what quality you get with the wires irrespective of the brands. I hope this review helps you to make a smart choice.
