Really wanted to like this laptop due to good specs on paper, but had to return it due to major display issues. Problems faced: - Screen was noticeably dull - colors looked washed out - Discovered partial blind spots on the display after 2 days of use - Very disappointing for a laptop at this price point - Screen quality was below expectations for everyday use HP Support - Not helpful: - Contacted HP support about the display issues - Their response was slow and not very supportive - Felt like they were trying to avoid the problem - Would not recommend relying on HP support if you face issues Amazon to the rescue: - Amazon's customer service was EXCELLENT - Return process was smooth and hassle-free - Got 100% refund within 7 days - No questions asked, very professional handling This is why I continue shopping on Amazon Bottom line: The laptop might work fine for some, but I got a defective piece. HP support disappointed me completely. Thank goodness Amazon's return policy and customer service are top-notch. Would suggest checking the display thoroughly if you buy this model. I received this laptop in February 2026, and later realized that it had some negative reviews which I hadn’t noticed at the time. Many users reported issues with warranty (though it can be renewed), display, and performance. Honestly, I probably wouldn’t have bought it if I had read those reviews earlier. However, the unit I received has been pretty good so far. I’ve been using it for about two months now without any problems. I was initially a bit skeptical because the price seemed low for a Ryzen 7 HS laptop, so I ran several software tests and checked its authenticity. Everything turned out to be fine. You shouldn’t expect long battery life, as it’s a mid-range HS laptop. It lasts about 4–5 hours at most under heavy tasks, and up to around 6 hours with normal use. You can do editing and even some gaming on it—though it’s not a dedicated gaming laptop, it can still handle those tasks. It may heat up, especially during heavy workloads like editing or gaming. If you’re using a keyboard dust protector, place a sheet of paper over it before closing the lid. Otherwise, it may leave marks on the screen—I’ve experienced this myself. The laptop usually comes with a black sheet you can use for this. So far, I haven’t faced any issues, and I hope it continues to perform well in the future. How about now is it a good review
