Pros: - Sound quality is great - I saw articles earlier claiming there isn't much bass but that isn't true. The bass is good and so does the treble. - Easy for me to switch between my laptop and PC without any connections, with the use of Bluetooth. - Strangely, though this doesn't have noise-canceling, I didn't miss it at all. I am on remote job but maybe this will be missing while commuting because of sound pollution. - Battery lasts for 3-4 days, for heavy use. I use it for work calls, music, and games at night. Cons: - Can't charge with a charger. I am charging it through my laptop :(. I checked it is possible to charge with a Power Bank though. - Headphone doesn't hold the head firmly (at least for me). It keeps on getting loose and I have to keep adjusting the frame. At some point, it even annoys me by slipping the frame in front of my eyes when I am doing serious work on my laptop, by leaning down. - Can't call "Siri" from far from the phone, hands-free. It is only possible by pressing a dedicated button on headphone but it is hard if you have your hands dirty or doing boxing like me. - Sometimes this headphone struggles to switch the device if two devices are connected. I observed if I connected to both PC and laptop and after using the PC for quite a while and then trying to use the laptop, the videos keep getting paused by the headphone!!. The only way to get out of this is to disable the Bluetooth or switch off the headphone. - The cups hurt my ear after wearing for more than 4 hours. Yes, the quality is very good but it is hardly a factor for normal users. This kind of sound quality is helpful for studio professionals to catch or do minute tweaks. Many budget 4k headphones have a good decent sound quality and don't have most of the mentioned "cons" above.

Superb sound clarity, I am using it on my pc with a premium quality sound card. Best' to listen all genres of music. And fitting is comfortable on ears.

People say the ATH-M50xBT2 LABs are just overpriced M50xBT2s… but they look cool and still sound amazing. Like, I get it — it’s a reference headphone, it’s not trying to color the sound. But everything I threw at it? Still felt crisp. Loud. Clean. I’ve taken a bunch of compression tests — flunked most of them. 2 out of 6, I was straight up guessing. I couldn’t tell a thing. Everything sounded great, even in Bluetooth mode. So maybe I’m not that “audiophile-type” with superhuman ears, but with Boom 3D on my Mac and the M50 profile loaded up? It just hits. Battery life? Long haven't charged them yet and use them daily plugged in mostley but BT when I need to move around the house and the distance is crazy long I've dropped these three times already due to using cords just not used to it yet — no scuffs, no issues, still sound like the day I opened them. Full disclosure: I swapped the pads. Tried Brainwavz and Yaxi Pads (STPad2s). The Yaxis changed everything. More comfort, better seal, better sound. They made these way more enjoyable than the stock pads or the Brainwavz Pro. Bluetooth volume is lower than wired, yeah — but still sounds great. And honestly? I’m probably nuking my ears with how loud I normally listen, so it’s probably doing me a favor. It just feels good knowing I got a studio set that delivers, feels solid, and has proven long-term value. Everyone says these last 2+ years easy, and I believe it. I also own AirPods Pro 2 — and these crush them on clarity. I know, it’s apples and oranges comparing over-ear to in-ear, but these easily beat my AirPods Pro 1s. And the battery life isn’t even close — M50s win that too. If your ears are picky, these are solid cans. The angled driver sits just right, and the fit’s perfect even for my big head — I don’t even need to adjust the band. No pressure, no fatigue. Bottom line? Clean sound, strong build, real comfort, stupid good battery. I'm keeping these in rotation for a long time.

If you’re looking for a pair of Bluetooth over ears, look no further. Every professional studio has at least one pair of M50X headphones. This is a studio quality pair of headphones at the cost of the low to mid tier competitor headphones. The app even has parametric EQ! They’re comfy to wear even if you don’t have baby ears (I’m looking at you, Sennheiser BT450). They’re a bit heavier than the competitors, but that’s a good thing. They feel (and are) a very rugged, solid pair of cans. The competitors are lighter and feel really cheap. Stop looking. These are the ones.

Je cherchais un casque Bluetooth qui produise un bon son, sans pour autant devoir dépenser une fortune. Le casque Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2MO correspond à mes attentes : Les POUR : - Appairage / dés-appairage Bluetooth facile et instantané, avec une confirmation par une voix féminine. - Durée d'écoute de 50h (20 h environ avec le superbe codec LDAC) - Rechargement rapide (je n'ai pas chronométré). - Portée supérieure à 14 mètres (je n'ai aucune coupure quel que soit l'endroit où je me trouve dans la maison). - Le casque tient bien en place sur la tête, et on peut bouger, faire du sport (par exemple de l'elliptique) en toute sécurité. - Son de signature studio, source-dépendant : le son est vraiment celui du signal reçu, c'est-à-dire celui enregistré et mixé par le studio. - DAC intégré de haute qualité ! On redécouvre des enregistrements qu'on croyait connaître ! - Beaucoup de détails, de subtilités, et de glorieuses nuances : on est étonné en passant d'une piste à une autre des différences. - Exactitude des timbres et des sons. - Grande séparation des instruments avec, ce qui est rare, le respect des signatures sonores des différents éléments. - Lorsque qu'un enregistrement vocal est bien réalisé, on est transformé en tête du micro : on a l'artiste qui chante juste au dessus de notre tête, c'est incroyable. Le réalisme est alors époustouflant. - Ce casque convient très bien aux musiques modernes : dance, disco, soulful, groove, funk, house, jazz divers, variétés, pop, etc. : c'est SAVOUREUX ! Si vous aimez les graves profonds mais exacts et bien détaillés, vous allez vous régaler ! Les divers sons de synthétiseurs sont sublimes ! - Application Connect App vraiment très bien faite ! : on peut choisir le codec LDAC (que je recommande de par sa qualité vraiment très nettement supérieure et STABLE) et aussi enclencher un égaliseur très pratique et efficace (Je recommande le mode paramétrique qui permet un réglage subtil et précis apportant beaucoup de plaisir - On peut sauvegarder des profils personnalisés). Les CONTRE : - Les coussinets n'ont pas des trous assez grands, et font un peu mal à la longue. C'est pourquoi je recommande vivement d'acheter les oreillettes et coussinets à mémoire de forme de la marque Brainwavz qui rendent mon casque Audio-Technica ATH-M50xBT2MO circum-aural, et qui protègent bien les oreilles, apportent un très grand confort, aussi un son bien meilleur car les drivers du casque ne sont pas limités par l'étroitesse des coussinets d'origine (Je me régale !). - Le casque me semble un peu moins adapté à la musique classique, et au pièces chantées (une pointe résonance à un endroit du spectre), mais rien de grave. - La conception mécanique du casque est à revoir car il lui arrive de grincer lorsqu'on ouvre la bouche ou qu'on bouge la tête, ce qui est parfois très irritant. C'est incompréhensible qu'Audio-Technica n'est pas détecté ce problème basique. Il faut absolument qu'ils le corrigent pour les futures versions. CONCLUSION : Ce casque Bluetooth est de grande qualité sonore, surtout pour son prix. Le son est jouissif ! Et encore mieux avec les coussinets Brainwavz indiqués. Je RECOMMANDE ce casque ! NOTA BENE : la photographie montre le casque équipé des coussinets Brainwavz aux trous bien larges.
