I am a regular Boat customer and have purchased numerous products from them over the years, so I am very familiar with their packaging and quality standards. My excitement for the new Boat Nirvana Ion ANC Pro, ordered on Monday and delivered with impressive speed the next day, quickly turned into utter shock and disappointment. It is blatantly obvious that I was sent a heavily used, damaged, and returned product, not a new one. Here is a step-by-step account of my unboxing experience, which proves this was not a new item: 1. Compromised Packaging: The outer box had visible scratch marks all over. One of the two standard Boat seals was clearly tampered with—it had been shifted from its original position, leaving behind adhesive residue. 2. Wrong Inner Packaging: Instead of the usual premium, partial-cover sleeve that Boat TWS cases come in, the earphone case was stuffed into a cheap, generic translucent polybag. 3. Missing Accessories: The box was supposed to contain a user guide, warranty card, and Boat stickers as listed under "Net Contents." ALL of these were missing. 4. Untethered Cable: The charging cable, which is always neatly tied with a bendable wire, was loose in the box. The wire tie was nowhere to be found. 5. Damaged Charging Case: Upon taking the case out of the polybag, I was horrified to see scratch marks all over its glossy metallic rim. 6. Used Earphones: The final proof was the state of the earphones themselves. There were no blue protective peel-off covers on the earpieces or touch sensors, which are standard on all new Boat TWS products (as seen in countless unboxing videos and my own past purchases). 7. Scratches & Corrosion: The earphones were covered in scratches and even fingerprints on the touch surfaces. The left earphone had a dot-sized area of paint scraped off near the LED indicator. To top it all off, the gold-plated charging pins on the buds were visibly corroded. This is not damage from shipping; this is undeniable evidence of prior, rigorous use. When I immediately went to the orders page to request a replacement—a right guaranteed by the "7-Day Replacement" policy for used or damaged items listed on the product page—I was met with a dead end. Amazon did not offer a replacement. Instead, I was shown a page offering a pitiful ₹301 to "try self-troubleshooting," which is completely irrelevant for a physically damaged and used product. I tried requesting a replacement multiple times with different reasons, but I was met with the same useless response every single time. My seller feedback, detailing the issue, was struck through by Amazon with the note: "This item was fulfilled by Amazon, and we take responsibility for this fulfilment experience." This is infuriatingly ironic, as they have taken zero responsibility and have actively prevented me from getting the new, undamaged product I paid for. Having been forced to use these earphones for three days, the performance issues are already showing. The battery life is poor, with the left earphone draining significantly faster than the right, and the case barely provides three charges. This is classic behaviour for a product with a worn-out, used battery. I am writing this review as a warning to other potential buyers. Be aware that you might be paying for a new product but could receive a damaged, used item with missing accessories. More importantly, don't count on Amazon's "Fulfilment" or their replacement policy to protect you when things go wrong. I have photographic evidence of every issue mentioned and will be attaching it to this review.

The product is nice but there is one problem. The sound stuck while listening to anything.

ANC does work as expected.
I used to earlier use Boat141 earpods, it was an okay product so brought this Boat Nirvana ION earpods, thinking it will be better then Boat 141, but unforunately it is one of the worst earpods i have used. 1. The sound quality was claimed superior, but not much difference in sound quality as compared to Boat 141. 2. There is this feature that turns off the earpods, only way to turn it on again is to put it back in the case and remove it to turn it ON and no feature to disable it (its a painful feature). 3. There is a feature where you remove your earpods from the ears, it pauses the audio (till now its fine) but if you dont put it back on to your ears within 5 seconds, it disconnects the bluetooth and to reconnect you have again remove the case put it back in the case and again put it on to the ears and again connect the bluetooth (so if you are speaking to someone or just remove your earpods hear an announcement in tain and put it back you are gone) . Thankfully they updated the earpods software and gave an optio to disable it. 4. If you switch between two apps like if i am hearing music on amazon music and if switch to amazon prime or facebook and start watching something there and the audio needs to switch, it most of the times disconnects the bluetooth and again you to put it in the case and put it back to connect and many times you have to do this multiple times to connect. 5. If i am travelling and if i tap the earpods to pause or if my hand or someone elses hand touchs my earpods and it pauses audio and disconnects and again to connect back to the phone i have put the earpods back to the case and put it back to connect. 6. If i pause the music on my amazon music app, many times it disconnects the earpods from the phone and again if i have to connect the bluetooth again i have to put it back in the case and again put it back to ears to connect. 7. The touch sensor of the earpods is in between the silver circle on the boat logo which is very sensitive doesnt work incase of a tap and most of the time if i tap and it pauses the audio it also disconnects the earpods and if earpods get disconnected then to connect back i have to put it back to the case and re-connect. 8. Earpods randomly disconnects from the phone and to connect back i have to put it back to the case and reconnect is painful. 9. When i first want to connect the earpods to the phone the bluetooth needs to be first on to be connected if i put the earppods on and then turn on the phone bluetooth it doesnt connect and even in first case where i keep the bluetooth on and then try to connect the earpods it takes multiple attempts to connect the blueetooth to the phone. 10. They have an APP called boat hearables to support the earpods, which pops up whenver I put the earpods on to my ears asking connect the earpods, and when i try to connect the earpods through the APP it trys for 5 minutes and then comes back telling me it cant connect because the phone has not been connected to the bluetooth, so if I have to connect the earpods to the phone manually then only the app will connect to the earpods then why does the APP ask me to connect the earpods to phone when it cannot, when i connect the phone to the earpods manually it should also connect the app to the earpods instead of popping up messages asking to connect the earpods to the APP and then failing to do so. THE EARPODS ARE VERY PAINFULL TO USE, THE BLUETOOTH DISCONNECTS VERY RANDOMLY AND FOR EVERYTHING AND TO RECONNECT PUTTING IT BACK TO THE CASE AND PUTTING IT ON IS PAINFULL TASK CONSIDERING I AND MANY LIKE ME USE THE EARPODS WHILE TRAVELLING IN TRAINS AND METRO AND THERE IS NO FEATURE TO TURN THIS FEATURE OFF.
Purchased in March 2025 and today is Jan 19th i am writing this review nearly after using for 10 months! The product was good at the start when I purchased! Nice audio quality, excellent features, the product was brilliant. Im a runner so I usually dont use both the buds but only use of 1 ear either left or right! Mostly left! so the case was taken care by me and never fell but slowly slowly the right bud stopped working and now it is not working at all, I used everything whatever was written in the manual but it didn't work! Now Im bearing this issue! Nevertheless for the ones who want to use it for 6 months it is agood purchase! Go ahead but if for a longer duration invest in earbuds which cost more than 2000!
Bought another one of same product, after six months of usage. Excellent battery life amongst all TWS used till date. Audio quality is okayish for bass. ANC mode is average, but this does provide the worth of the money.
These earbuds are great overall, but the size of the buds is a bit large for my liking. If they were smaller, they'd be way more comfortable. Sound quality's good though, and battery life's solid. 👍"
Product is good but as described Noise cancellation exist in it. Exactly it work sometime and sometimes not. Except this product is too good like battery backup sound quality is good you should buy it
I recently purchased the boAt Nirvana Ion ANC headphones, and honestly, I am very satisfied with them. The battery backup and sound quality are especially impressive. I usually use a combination of ANC and normal mode, and with a single full charge, I am getting up to 15 days of battery backup. Of course, this may vary depending on individual usage. The sound quality is very clear, the bass is well balanced, and it remains comfortable even during long listening sessions. The ANC feature also works quite well for this price range. However, there is one downside. The headphones come with a glossy finish, which looks very attractive and premium, but since it has a glossy surface, it gets scratched very easily. A matte finish would have been a better option. Overall, this is a value-for-money product. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for good battery life and sound quality in this price segment.
Battery backup good But Sometimes Outside record isn’t good catching. Not clear record. Calling is something ok.
ANC not good as mentioned, not meet expectations. Music quality while listening much better than another's local brands. 3 starts for the play Music only. While used for calling on outdoor is very disappointing....
These earbuds are perfect for movie n gaming but when it comes to phone calls it worse as the Anc is not working properly.
