I am very happy with this camera. The video quality is clear and works well both day and night. Night vision is also good and helps in monitoring properly. Installation was very easy and mobile app connection is simple. Live view and playback are working smoothly. Motion detection is accurate and gives timely alerts. Build quality is strong and looks durable. Value for money product. Totally satisfied with this purchase and I recommend it to others who are looking for a good security camera.
The product is good but it also make you feel it's a budget camera app is a bit laggy and they don't offer the cloud storage they mentioned but that didn't cause me any problem The main problem was initially it was not connecting to my wifi then i researched a bit and found out that these camera's are to stupid to understand and special case(@*'!) in your wifi name and password so I had to change both of it to a simpler one they it connected other then that work good

excellent value for money camera. its not a normal cctv camera it has the robot cruise mode which can automatically rotate and record . i always wanted this feature. also you can record to cloud which usually doesn't come in this price range.

I am using the camera from last month. The build quality is average. And the main issue of the camera, it's connect the wifi and after few second it disconected automatically. It may be issue of the firmware or somthing else. Another issues is the addapter is annoningly heat within few minutes of plugged. App ui also not good compare to other brands. Final conclusion, before buy any camera don't compromise with price go for good an d trusted brand.

I have bought few many of them. Also have returned few many as they stopped working. Now am stuck with 2 which stopped working. Amazon not helping here. N trueview with 2 years warranty asking me to visit Bengaluru to give product to sc wait for diagnosis n find what's best. Or forget it. Wt to do . Help
Got 4 of this unit, the image quality is just okayish, not much to expect for 999/unit. The camera at random hours gets turned off on it's own and restarts back on it's own. The cloud service offered is per camera and not the complete user profile so keep that in mind. The product is fine for minimal surveillance, rest it comes with all required accessories and built quality is good. App s good and works fine and keeps sending timely and abrupt notifications in case of movements. Again wrt image quality during daylight the face is much better recognized for upto 10 feet max, so identifying a new face through the recording beyond a distance be challenging and more during night hours so locate the unit as per. Strong wifi connectivity.

Memory card of the same company corrupted in a month. Camera doesn't connect seamlessly. Needs to switch on and off most of the time to resolve issue.
Quality of Video/Image is not up-to-mark. even there is a lag in recognizing the movement so its unable to capture the image of the moving object in real-time. In short - i would recommend to go for other product.

Update after 3 months Connectivity issue Ptz rotates and disconnecting, shows offline and then reconnects. Not happy after 2 months now Quality need to be upgraded...

Great camera for home if you live in apartments. I have been using this for close to three months now and it’s worked fantastic, I strongly believe that as long as you make sure that you maintain stuff, it definitely won’t break. That’s why I ensure that on a monthly basis, I clean the camera and clean it up so there’s no dust around the lens or around the body of it to ensure that the motors don’t get jammed and the motion tracking works as intended. I did happen to have a small issue with events, not showing up on the app, for some reason, I tried every possible troubleshooting step, including uninstalling the app, logging out resetting the camera, but nothing somehow worked. So I reached out to the trueview Support, which was pretty easy. It just took two minutes of hold time, I was connected with the engineer, Harish, who was actually quite helpful and followed up with me for continuously three days in a row and finally helped me fix the issue. It apparently required some sort of a backend update from their developer team, and once they did that, it started to show everything just like it did before, so I gotta say the Support is really good. The team works flawlessly, and if you want a camera where you can reach out and ask for assistance, or in case you’re coming across any trouble, then trueview is certainly the one to go for. Thanks for the great support Harish! Overall all features are great! However, I do think that the quality of camera and the video resolution is not so great. It does say five megapixel, but it doesn’t feel like it. I’ve tried to compare it with other two megapixel and three megapixel cameras and it somehow lands in the same bin, so I think the fact that they’re calling it is 5MP is somewhat of a gimmick, but it still does the job for a daily basis usage and for a normal monitoring CCTV camera. I use it indoor in apartments so there is no concern about it being waterproof or having strong Wi-Fi connection because it does justify with a 2.4 GHz modem. I own another CP plus camera so I have to say that trueview is much better when it comes after sales support, annd overall value for money with the product. Although they say that CP plus is a pretty reputed brand, I have always noticed that reaching out to them is a big challenge. I will update the review around 6 months to explain the long term performance
